Equal Pay Day (EPD) is celebrated in Lithuania annually in mid-February. During this time, discussions are initiated on why women continue to be paid less than men in the same jobs and sectors. In Lithuania, the gender pay gap stands at 12.1%, which is lower than the EU average, but progress in this area remains slow.
